Dr. Núria Bautista Puig to join SIM and the QSS Lab as a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Núria Bautista Puig will be joining the School of Information Management in January 2023 as a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Bautista Puig received her Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and her background is in geography (B.Sc), Geographical Information Systems and Remote sensing (M.Sc). She received the Campus Sustainability Research Award from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). Her areas of expertise include information science, organizational sustainability, and scientometrics.
During her Killam Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr. Bautista Puig will be conducting research aimed at understanding the practices and outcomes of citizen science globally. She will also develop a Living Lab initiative to explore how such initiatives can enhanced the participation of community stakeholders in all stages of the research process, including the identification of locally relevant research problems, the research design, the dissemination of the findings, and their translation into practice.
